Encore: Music Party Game is developed by Sergio Daniel Xalambri (“I,” “me,” or “my”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use Encore on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac, or contact Encore support.
Information handled by the app
Encore does not require an account. The app does not send personal information or gameplay activity to servers operated by me.
Encore does not include advertising, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics SDKs.
Your singing stays private
Encore displays singing challenges for you to perform in person. It does not access your microphone, listen to your singing, record audio, or use speech recognition.
Optional sound effects are played by the app; they do not involve recording you.
Information stored on your device
Encore stores small amounts of information locally, including sound and haptic preferences and whether you have already seen gameplay hints.
This information supports the app’s functionality and is not transmitted to me. Your device’s backup services may include local app data according to your Apple settings.
You can change available preferences through the app’s settings. Local data can be removed by deleting the app and its associated data. Copies in device backups are managed through your Apple backup settings.
Apple Watch connectivity
When you use Encore with a paired Apple Watch, the iPhone and Watch exchange the current card’s title, challenge text, reveal state, and commands such as reveal, next, and shuffle.
This communication uses Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework. It is not sent to a server operated by me.
Purchases and Apple services
Apple processes App Store purchases. I do not receive your payment card details.
Apple may process purchase information, diagnostics, and usage information under its own privacy policy and your device settings. Apple may make sales reports, aggregate analytics, or diagnostic reports available to me through its developer services. I use any such information to understand app performance and resolve problems.
For details about Apple’s practices, visit apple.com/legal/privacy.
Support requests
If you submit the support form, I receive the information you provide. This may include:
Your name, if provided.
Your email address.
Your request topic and device/platform.
Your OS and app versions, if provided.
Your message and any other information you choose to include.
I use this information to respond to your request, investigate reported problems, and improve Encore. Please do not include passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.
Support website and service providers
The support website and email services may process information needed to deliver your request and operate the website.
The support website is hosted on Cloudflare, which also delivers support requests to me by email. Cloudflare processes the technical information needed to serve and protect the website, such as your IP address and browser details, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
To limit spam, the support form includes hidden fields that automated tools tend to fill in, and it limits how many requests one IP address can send per minute. Each request is also checked automatically for signs of spam, such as many links or a disposable email address; a request that looks like spam may be discarded or marked for review. Your IP address is not included in the support request I receive.
As part of that check, your IP address, email address, and name, if provided, are looked up in StopForumSpam, a public database of addresses reported for sending spam. StopForumSpam receives only those details, not your message, and handles them under its privacy policy.
The website keeps request logs through Cloudflare to diagnose problems. They record details of each request, such as the page requested and the outcome, and do not include the contents of your support request.
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure visits, such as which pages are viewed and where visitors come from. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage and does not track you across websites. The website does not use advertising cookies.
After you submit the form, the website sets one cookie, r3:session, so the next page can confirm that your request was sent; that cookie expires after one year.
Support information is not sold or used for targeted advertising. Service providers may process it as necessary to provide hosting, email delivery, or security services.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law.
Retention
Local app preferences remain on your device until removed or reset.
Support requests are kept in my email inbox until the issue or request is resolved, and then deleted.
Website request logs are kept by Cloudflare for up to 7 days.
Cloudflare Web Analytics keeps detailed visit data for 7 days, then reduces it to a sampled summary that is available for up to six months.
The per-minute request counts used to limit spam reset after one minute. The r3:session cookie expires after one year.
Your privacy choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have provided through support. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law.
Submit privacy requests through the Encore support page.
I may need to verify that a request comes from the person concerned. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.
Because Encore does not send me your locally stored app preferences or gameplay state, I cannot access or delete that information remotely.
Children’s privacy
Encore does not collect personal information through gameplay, including from children.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the support website, contact me so I can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Encore’s functionality or information-handling practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
