Software Engineer, Tech Lead and Technical Writer
After Codeable I joined back the Engineering department as Teach Lead on one of our internal products, there I lead the migration from a jQuery + React + Redux Frontend codebase to a Next.js + Tailwind CSS Frontend, while keeping the already built Rails monolith as an API.
I teach Frontend for six months at our internal bootcamp Codeable, here I teach HTML, CSS, JS, animation, React, Redux, CSS in JS and more.
I worked as Software Engineer in a partner project when I joined the company, there we used React and Styled Components.
I migrated to a Software Engineer role after doing Support to help build the dashboard and the contribute with the Lead Designer to build the original documentation and components of the Geist Design System.
I joined Vercel to lead the Support efforts, while worked there I helped to resolve multiple bugs, revamp the API documentation including examples and missing and undocumented API endpoints, I also implemented feature required by the users of the platform. Additionally, I helped troubleshoot the user issues and some time debug their applications.
After I migrated to a more JS focused role I worked on the backend and frontend part of our Live Streaming platform and chat, making a WebSocket server scalable to support the amount of traffic we received almost daily, I also built a video player with DRM and streaming support and automatically quality switch to work even on bad connections.
While I was Frontend Developer I worked on multiple projects for our education platform, including our custom blog engine, multiple landing pages, a subscription manager for users.
I worked mostly doing responsive landing pages, where I needed to built the mobile views myself, I also worked with PHP and CodeIgniter to build CMS for some of our websites, including eCommerce platforms
